EVA PPD For Diesel
CAS: 24937-78-8
Molecular formula: (C2H4)m·(C4H6O2)n
Ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA),commonly used as EVA PPD for Diesel, can significantly reduce the freezing point and cold filter point of diesel, thereby improving the low-temperature flowability of diesel. For example, the cold filter points of 1 #, 2 #, and 3 # diesel are reduced by 18 ℃, 12 ℃, and 21 ℃, respectively, and the pour point is reduced by 31 ℃, 9 ℃, and 26 ℃, respectively. EVA has good oil solubility and is easy to dissolve in diesel. It can be uniformly dispersed and form a stable solution. EVA performs well under high temperature conditions, resisting oxidation and thermal degradation, and reducing sediment formation. EVA has low volatility, reducing lubricant consumption and extending oil change intervals. EVA is compatible with various sealing materials and will not cause damage to the seals. EVA has good adhesive temperature performance, stable at high temperatures, and good fluidity at low temperatures
High wax diesel: suitable for reducing pour point and improving low-temperature fluidity of high wax diesel.
Hydrogenated diesel: It has a good pour point reduction effect on hydrogenated diesel and its blended diesel.
Low sulfur diesel: suitable for blending low sulfur diesel to improve low-temperature fluidity.
usage method:
Dosage: The usual dosage is 0.01% to 0.1% (mass fraction), and the specific dosage needs to be determined according to the specific composition and properties of diesel.
Mixing method: Mix EVA with diesel in a certain proportion to form a mother liquor, then add the mother liquor to the diesel and stir thoroughly to mix evenly.
Laboratory trials: It is recommended to conduct laboratory trials before actual use to determine the optimal dosage and blending method
