HA202 Zinc Butyl Octyl Dithiophosphate is composed of mixed alkyl chains of butyl (C4) and octyl (C8), combining the advantages of short-chain and long-chain alkyls to balance high-temperature stability and oil solubility. The butyl chain enhances high-temperature stability, while the octyl chain improves low-temperature oil solubility, making it suitable for a wide temperature range (such as -20℃ to 150℃). Zinc ions are combined with dithiophosphate groups to form stable complexes, effectively releasing active sulfur and phosphorus elements to provide extreme pressure and anti-wear protection. By decomposing peroxides, it delays the oxidation of lubricating oil and extends the service life of the oil, especially under high-temperature conditions. It can form a chemical adsorption film on metal surfaces, reducing direct contact between friction pairs and significantly reducing wear, making it suitable for high-load mechanical components (such as engine bearings, gears). This product can protect metal surfaces from corrosion by acidic substances and moisture, especially showing good corrosion inhibition effects on non-ferrous metals such as copper and lead.

APPLICATIONS

Used in gasoline/diesel engine oils to protect critical components such as camshafts and piston rings.
Provides extreme pressure protection for gear/hydraulic oils, suitable for high-load applications such as mining machinery and stamping equipment.
Reduces wear and extends oil change intervals in screw or reciprocating compressors.
Cutting fluids/wire drawing oils: Reduces friction between the tool and the workpiece, improving machining accuracy and surface finish.
Enhanced high-temperature and extreme-pressure performance, suitable for bearing greases (e.g., lithium-based greases and calcium sulfonate complex greases).

RECOMMENDED DOSAGE

The recommended dosage is from 0.5% to 3.0%.
