High molecular weight phenolic ester antioxidants possess excellent high-temperature stability. The ester structure enhances thermal stability, with a decomposition temperature reaching above 320℃. They can effectively inhibit oil oxidation, reducing the formation of sludge and deposits under high-temperature conditions. Their low volatility (compared to traditional phenolic antioxidants such as BHT) means they are less likely to be lost at high temperatures, thus extending the service life of the oil. Due to their high molecular weight, they have low migration in lubricants and are not easily extracted by acidic substances or moisture in the oil, maintaining their antioxidant effects over the long term. They contain no harmful elements such as sulfur or phosphorus, avoiding poisoning of exhaust catalysts and meeting environmental regulations. In liquid form, they are compatible with mineral oils, synthetic oils (Group Ⅱ/Ⅲ base oils), and ester-based oils, making them easy to blend. When combined with amine antioxidants (such as alkylated diphenylamine) or sulfur/molybdenum compounds, they can significantly enhance antioxidant performance through synergistic effects. They can inhibit both oil viscosity increase and piston deposit formation when used with amines. In addition to antioxidant properties, they also improve oil cleanliness and control high-temperature varnish formation, making them suitable for high-load engine oils and industrial lubricants.

 

2. APPLICATIONS

 

Industrial lubricants: Such as circulating oil, hydraulic oil, turbine oil, transmission oil, compressor oil, etc., are used to protect equipment and reduce equipment wear and failures caused by oil oxidation.
Engine oil: Including gasoline engine oil and diesel engine oil, to improve the high-temperature antioxidant properties of the oil, reduce piston carbon deposits, and keep the engine clean.
Food machinery lubricants: High molecular weight phenolic ester antioxidants approved by the FDA can be used to formulate lubricants that come into contact with specific foods, ensuring food hygiene and safety.
Aviation lubricants: Used in high-temperature and high-pressure environments such as aviation engines, to ensure the long-term stability and reliability of the lubricants.

 

3. RECOMMENDED DOSAGE

 

Recommended dosage: 0.1-2.0%
