Boronized Polyisobutene Bis-Succinimide
CAS: 84605-20-9
Molecular formula: R-C4H3O2NB(C2H4NH)m C2H4 C4H3O2-R
Borated polyisobutene succinimide offers excellent low-temperature sludge dispersing performance, effectively preventing piston carbon buildup and varnish formation in engines. The incorporation of boron greatly enhances the antioxidant capacity and provides additional anti-wear properties, helping to reduce high-temperature corrosion and friction losses on metal surfaces. This improvement also allows for reduced use of other additives in formulations, making it ideal for high-performance engine oils.
Conventional dispersants may cause rubber compatibility issues due to the presence of chlorine or amine compounds. However, borated dispersants eliminate these drawbacks through chemical modification. As a result, borated dispersants demonstrate superior thermal stability and improved long-term storage performance.
APPLICATIONS
Mainly used for blending SG grade and above gasoline engine oil, CF-4 and above diesel engine oil, especially suitable for mixing environmentally friendly engine oil.
Including automotive automatic transmission fluid (ATF), gearbox oil, etc., which can improve the friction characteristics and durability of the oil.
Used for energy-saving and environmentally friendly industrial lubricants, such as hydraulic oil, gear oil, etc
RECOMMENDED DOSAGE
The recommended dosage is from 0.1% to 10.0%.
