This product is the solvent of polymethacrylate in the deep refined mineral oil, which is a new type of polymer with excellent effect of thickening/viscosity index increasing/pour point depressing.

Product Description

1. DESCRIPTION

CAS: 68459-84-7
Molecular formula: -(C2H5CCOOR)n-

This product changes the growth direction of wax crystals in the oil through the co crystallization of poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMA), forming loose and uniform small grains, significantly reducing the pour point of lubricating oil (such as 0.5% addition can reduce the pour point of oil from -25 ℃ to -40 ℃), and improving low-temperature fluidity. Its molecular structure design can also prevent wax crystals from forming a three-dimensional network structure through steric hindrance effect, ensuring that oil can be quickly pumped to the friction surface in severe cold environments and reducing engine cold start wear. This pour point depressant has both thickening and viscosity index improvement capabilities, which can enhance the high-temperature stability of oil products while improving low-temperature performance. For example, after adding 150N base oil, the viscosity of the oil at 100 ℃ can increase by 6-8 mm ²/s, and the viscosity index (VI) can be increased by more than 15%, making it suitable for the blending of multi-stage internal combustion engine oil and hydraulic oil. This product adopts a narrow molecular weight distribution design (SSI ≤ 28%), which can maintain stable performance even under high-pressure and high-speed shear conditions, extending the service life of the oil. Its flash point is ≥ 170 ℃, and its thermal decomposition temperature is high, making it suitable for high-temperature circulation systems such as turbine oil and heat transfer oil. It does not contain harmful elements such as sulfur and phosphorus, meets the requirements of low ash environmental protection, and has good compatibility with mineral oil, synthetic oil (PAO, ester oil), and traditional additives (such as ZDDP, phenolic antioxidants), which can simplify oil formula design. Performance comparable to VISCOPLEX 8-310

2. APPLICATIONS

Multi grade engine oil: used for low viscosity oils such as 0W-16 and 0W-20, to improve low-temperature starting performance and reduce fuel consumption (recommended dosage 0.5% -2.0%).
Automatic transmission fluid (ATF): suppresses low-temperature viscosity growth and ensures smooth shifting, such as CVTF and DCTF formulations.
Hydraulic oil/gear oil: Optimize low-temperature fluidity and load-bearing capacity in 150SN-500SN base oil (such as wind power gear oil, heavy-duty industrial gear oil), with a typical addition amount of 0.1% -0.5%.
Turbine oil/compressor oil: used in high-temperature circulation systems to reduce wax deposition and oxidation by-products.
Aviation hydraulic oil: maintains stable performance in a wide temperature range from -60 ℃ to high temperature, meeting the stringent requirements of aviation equipment.
Lubricating grease: a lubricating grease formula used as a low-temperature flow improver for equipment such as bearings and chains.
