Product Description

PIBSI Dispersant

CAS: 84605-20-9
Molecular formula: R-C4H3O2N(C2H4NH)nH

The PIBSI dispersant/emulsifier is an ashless succinimide-based lubricant additive known for its outstanding thermal stability. It is widely used in both gasoline and diesel engine oils, typically in combination with alkaline detergents, corrosion inhibitors, and antioxidants. This additive helps prevent sludge and varnish formation in gasoline engines under low-temperature conditions and efficiently disperses deposits in medium-speed and high-temperature turbocharged diesel engines.

Key Features

Excellent dispersing power for soot, sludge, and varnish
Ashless composition suitable for formulating low-ash or ash-free lubricants
Thermal and oxidative stability to ensure performance in harsh operating conditions
Contributes to engine cleanliness, extended oil drain intervals, and longer engine life
Fully compatible with other lubricant additives and base stocks

HA151 Polyisobutene Mono-Succinimide

APPLICATIONS

Lubricant and fuel additive – Emulsifier

It effectively disperses sludge, carbon deposits, soot, oxidation products, and other deposit precursors in engine oil. As a result, it reduces deposit formation, minimizes oil oxidation, and helps prevent viscosity increase.

It is a low-chlorine, ashless dispersant additive.

Stability and Reactivity

Stability: The material is generally stable under moderate to slightly elevated temperatures and pressures.
Incompatibility: No known incompatibilities. Avoid contact with reactive chemicals.
Polymerization: Will not occur.
Hazardous decomposition products: Thermal fumes, carbon monoxide, and aldehydes.

RECOMMENDED DOSAGE

The recommended dosage is from 0.5% to 4.0%.
